We’re off to our first real unfenced camping experience at Khutse’s Molose camp #1. It’s next to the watering hole and there’s apparently a pride of lions and hyenas that come to the site regularly. We’ll see who walks through our camp. Lots of rain the last week. Hoping we don’t get stuck in sand. Wish us luck!
We’ve had two nice campsites in Botswana so far, one near Lobatse (Phuduhudu) and one near Gabarone (Mokolodi Nature Reserve). We had Phuduhudu entirety to ourselves with an outdoor bar, sink, pool, and huge bonfire and braai area.
Other than faint music from the chalets, we were had a peaceful two nights at Mokolodi. We had that camp area pretty much to ourselves as well. Each campsite there had its own toilet, outdoor kitchen sink next to the braai, and a big, beautiful outdoor shower.
